Responsible Competition Policy

OATH MONKS is built around skill-based competition, not chance-based wagering. This policy exists to keep entry fees proportionate to genuine competitive stakes and to protect teams from predatory spending patterns.

Our commitments

• Entry fees, slot counts and prize pools are published in full before registration opens — nothing is hidden or revealed after payment.
• We do not run odds, in-tournament betting, or any mechanism where outcome is determined by chance rather than performance.
• We do not encourage repeated entry into tournaments a team cannot realistically field a roster for.
• Refund and dispute channels are available and reviewed by a human administrator, not an automated payout engine.

For team managers

Only commit your organization's funds to entry fees you can afford regardless of outcome. Prize money should be treated as a possible reward for competitive performance, never as an assumed return on the entry fee.

Reporting a concern

If you believe a tournament, team, or individual is engaging in behavior inconsistent with fair, skill-based competition, raise it with the administrator through your dashboard or the dispute system.
