Prize Distribution Policy

Every tournament publishes its total prize pool and its per-position breakdown (e.g. Champion, Runner-up, 3rd Place) on the tournament page before registration opens. This is visible to the public, not only to registered teams.

Locking after registration opens

Once registration for a tournament has opened, its prize structure is locked and cannot be silently changed. Any change after that point requires an administrator to record an explicit reason, and the system permanently logs the before/after values of the change for audit purposes.

Eligibility to receive a prize

A team must hold a Confirmed registration, complete the tournament without disqualification, and finish in a prize-eligible position on the final, verified standings to receive a prize award.

Payout tracking

Once a tournament is marked Completed, prize awards are recorded per eligible team with a status of Pending, Processing or Paid. Teams can track their own award status from their dashboard; administrators update status as payouts are processed.

Disputes affecting prize position

If a dispute changes final standings after prize awards were recorded, awards are recalculated and the correction is logged in the same audit trail as any other administrative change.
